    The customer service at the Birmingham waffle house was IMMPECABLE! the food came fast, faster than some other waffle houses i've been to. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and told, "Have a great day, y'all!" when I left. They did a great job keeping things clean in here. I loved this experience!

    I love this place ask for Valerie to wait on you , she always gets it right.
    Cook to serve , I think most Waffle House are about the same , but this one I really do love.

    Called in to make a takeout order for my family after a 8 plus hour trip from North Carolina! Only to call in be placed on hold with hearing the workers debating on FELT LIKE TAKING A TOGO ORDER! I was so pissed that I was on hold for ten minutes I drive from my hotel and asked to speak to management and EVELYN asked what I wanted because she was doing something and wouldn't come to the front! I will be contacting corporate DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE! She needs to be fired! I would not spent my hard earned money at this location

    The service was not very good when I went there for a meal.  

    For starters, they didn't even take my order until about 10 minutes after I had sat down, and even then, they took other people's orders ahead of mine, despite their having been there at a later time than I was.  

    I had ordered a steak, and they seemed to finally get started on it about 15 minutes after I had placed the order (I had now been there for almost a half hour).  Before it was ready, some other guy sitting at another area flagged down the waitress, and insisted that his steak be "piping hot," and wanted it early.  Keep in mind, he had shown up about 10 minutes after I had gotten there.  

    So, the waitress gave him my steak instead, making me wait another 15 minutes.  By the time I got my food, I had no time left to eat there, so I simply asked for it to go.  The steak that was given to me wasn't even the steak I had ordered, either.  

    When I told the waitress that it wasn't the right steak, she offered to have another one cooked for me, but by that time, I had to leave, and couldn't wait for another 45 minutes.  

    The only reason why I gave them the second star, is because they didn't charge me for the steak.  I won't be going back there again.  

    In their defense, maybe they were understaffed that day, or maybe they were breaking in a lot of new people, but even then, 45 minutes is too long to wait to receive a meal at a Waffle House.

    Great waffles!  Cheap affordable meal. Ate here twice while in Trussville. Was within a 4 min walk from my hotel Hampton Inn. I wish I had ventured out sooner cause in spite of a good free hotel breakfast, I'd have eaten there every day!  Grits n tea were pretty good too.
